Todd Freel CD Reviews

This was recorded earlier this fall, when Freel the host of Talk the Walk on 980 KKMS came to Luther Seminary to ask students faith questions. Freel is a Calvinist Baptist for those wondering.

Here are some tidbits of the Heresy present at Luther Seminary.

.When one girl was asked "how you get to heaven"? She responded by saying "Don't ask me, I'm just a first year student?"

. When one guy was asked this question "He paused for a minute, saying that's a good question", then he answered by saying "Jesus is the path for him, but other shave ulitimate realities which lead them to God"

. When asked about Abortions every response was Pro-Choice.

. No one affirmed Biblical marriage, although he only asked two people this question.

. The constant doctrine about the afterlife was univeralism. Although, a few people said it is in God's hands, thereby admiting the possibility of eternal punishment.

. Luther students think the Bible contains many contradictions and errors. Although I will say that it contains contradictions to our feeble human understanding.

. A Staff member said you are saved by "How you treat people"

. Another staff member admitted to being a "Deist", who denies the afterlife, and considers the Bible a "story"

. Overall this basically showcased why there is a 'Crisis in the Emerti Office.' When I look at the great teachers of Luther's past : Roy Harrisville, JR., Jim Burtness, Gerhard Forde, George Aus, Herman Preus, TF Gullixson, and others who contributed to the great Theological heritage of this school. These men were all Christ-centered, and Bible-centered. The Seminary has been taken over by feel good, hyper-sensitive, people-pleasers, although their are still great professors here like Skip Sundberg, Steve Paulson, Marc Kolden, Nancy Koester, Jim Nestigen, Gracia Grindal, and others.
