What do they believe-Part 1

Jehovah Witnesses

-Deny the Trinity. Jehovah Witnesses deny that Christ is coeternal with the father, but created by the Father. They view the Holy Spirit as a force, rather than a deity. Jesus was not God in flesh, but the angel Micheal who became Man. They believe Jesus rose as a spirit, not in the flesh, and that he was killed on a stake. The Jehovah Witnesses use only the New World Translation, which adjusts verses denying the Trinity. http://www.carm.org/jw/doctrines.htm

-The Watchtower organization founded by Charles Taize Russell are God's guardians of the truth on Earth. They believe they are the only True Church, of which 144,000 members are elect to heaven, the rest will spend eternity on paradise on earth.

-Believe in works-righteousness salvation. This salvation is acheived through door to door witnessing.

-Jehovah Witnesses deny the eternal punishment of Hell, they promote an annihalist position for those who aren't Jehovah Witnesses.

-The Jehovah Witnesses have a long history of inaccurate predictions regarding Christ's return.
