Heresy Watch #3

From Luther Seminary's calendar found at www.luthersem.edu/intranet

Prayfully Pro-ChoiceTuesday, 11/15 TODAY! 12p-1:30pCampus Center - Seminar Rm 1
How can we educate the public to make it clear that many religious people support a public opinion climate that is conducive to pro-choice policy making and affirms women as moral decision makers? All students, staff and faculty are invited to the discussion: Joining the faithful movement for reproductive justice.

Led by the MN Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice and Debra Wells, Ecumenical Coordinator.

The MN Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice is comprised of religious denominations and faith groups which are committed to the preservation of religious freedom and reproductive choice.

This group doesn't aim to only allow abortions when the Mother's life is in serious danger, or in cases of rape, or incest. For the record, I don't support abortions in cases of rape. Since two wrongs, don't make a right. I know that statement will have me labeled as a fringe, fanatic.

Why does this woman have a job at Luther Seminary? I debunked the Pro-Choice position on Abortion here http://emerti.blogspot.com/2005/07/abortion-debate.html. I really don't see a serious debate taking place anytime soon. I don't consider a serious debate calling me a Fundamentalist who is a close-minded sexist.

Real Lutherans baptize babies, they don't Abort them. Real Lutherans bring babies to the font, not to the garbage. I should seriously consider taking action as to this abomination. But what should I expect from a Church in the ELCA who pays for Abortions for any reason, in their health plan with offering dollars.
