More on Homosexuality Here are responses to a few arguments that are thrown my way on this.
1. It is their orientation which cannot be changed?
Romans 7:18, and Romans 8:5-8 speak of our nature being so totally depraved that we cannot due anything by our nature pleasing to God. To say one is born a certain way is irrevelant Psalm 51:5 acknowledges our sinful nature since Birth. To state orientation makes one good denies the will is bound in direct contrast to Martin Luther.
2. How can you deny people's love? I am not denying anyone the right to love. It is how you express that love I am denying. The sixth commandment doesn't say you can't love your attractive female neighbor in the sense that you care about her, and love her as yourself. But it does limit how that love is expressed. The Bible is constantly speaking out against sex outside of marriage, the problem isn't their love, it's how they express their love.
3. God loves Gay People? God loves all people, he loves Hindus, he loves Drug-Addicts, this doesn't mean that God accepts all behaviors as evidenced as this is constantly laid out in scripture. I Timothy 3 also states that their are behavior standards and theology standards for Church Leaders. To deny this is to be damaging to the Church.
