ELCA Assembly

The fact that Resolution #3 failed is not a victory. Their needed to be a 2/3 majority basically rejecting Resolution #3, for this issue to be off the table. This issue isn't going off the table. The Minneapolis and Saint Paul Area Synods aren't going to enforce the ELCA standards in that they will still allow Gay/Lesbian Pastors. The Seminaries are going to keep getting more liberal as they have in the last forty years. The fact that this was so close, means it is going to be brought up again soon. The Lutheran Landscape is changing at a slower pace than it might of, but the times they are a changing. How to address the Changing landscape, I will address at a later time.

I do want to endorse Peter Rogness' idea to enlarge the Church Council with at least 69 members one from each and every synod.
